These rules apply to GachaRoll live events with a prize put up by GachaRoll and sponsors, starting with the Halloween Derby (Illuvial Racing). Last updated October 24, 2026.
GachaRoll (gacharoll.io) runs these events. Questions: contact us through the GachaRoll community channels listed on gacharoll.io.
Buy an event pass on the season page. Each pass is one racer, up to the event's per-account limit (5 for the Halloween Derby). Passes are account-bound collectibles and also unlock the season's badges and nicknames. Pass money goes to GachaRoll and is not part of the prize.
For every entry, you choose an Illuvial to race before entries close (7:45 PM ET on Oct 31 for the Halloween Derby).
The race is decided by Illuvial Racing's race engine. Each Illuvial's six traits give real advantages, but no racer is guaranteed to win. The same rules apply to every entry.
| Prize | A fixed amount, announced before entries open, put up by GachaRoll and sponsors. It does not depend on how many passes are sold. |
| Split | 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%. |
| Several places | One person can win more than one place with different racers. |
| Paid in | ILV on Immutable zkEVM, sent to the winning account's wallet. Taxes are the winner's responsibility. |
| Fully funded first | The full prize must be on-chain before the race runs. If it isn't, the event is cancelled and every pass is refunded. |
Sponsors may add to the prize; anything added goes to the winners in the same split.
If an event is cancelled (not enough racers, an unfunded prize, a technical failure we can't fix, or any reason in section 8), passes bought for it are refunded automatically on-chain. The pass art stays in your account as a keepsake.
We may change, postpone or cancel an event if something outside our control or a fairness problem affects it. Any change will be posted on the event page; a cancelled event is refunded as in section 6. These rules may be updated, with the date above changed; the version in effect when entries open applies to that event.
Testnet events use test tokens (tILV) with no value.
